I've fixated on this GMC ad with the sub. When those things bash through the ice the fairwater planes on the sail are rotated 90deg straight up. Yet there's snow & ice on them after rotating back to normal position. I CALL BULLSHIT!! DECEPTIVE GMC MARKETING!!
*deep breath*

Never noticed how much the ad was targeted at Ford.

Damn! Neither did I until you made me think about that...
I understand the aluminum will be good, but I have a feeling the majority of Americans will hate it.

Yeah, that bugs me too, I spent a good deal of yesterday watching ice breaching videos and the fairwater planes are, as you said, either rotated 90 or retracted (or missing)

I'm quite certain there was no incredible thinking here.
Also: there's not usually enough ice on the top of the sail to have fallen there either - I CHECKED - but there can be sometimes.
Also: I found a picture of a polar bear dicking with the tail of USS Connecticut.

Buy a steel pickup! It's the material used in submarines; vehicles build to be heavy enough to sink!

But will they be neutrally buoyant?

I wonder if that GMC has a backup alarm that sounds like sonar pings?
"One ping only, Vasily..."
